baby steps

ok, this morning i managed to drag myself out of bed by 9 a.m., and actually got up, took my medication, took a shower, got dresesd, and came out into the living room to start working.

i haven't started working yet, mind you, but this is a huge improvement over the last few days. yesterday i spent the whole day in bed trying to work but mostly playing angband.

the exciting life of the single woman

it's a gorgeous night, warm and breezy, just the sort of night to be sitting in an outdoor cafe with a delicious man, laughing at a private joke and trying not to look nervous because you think tonight you're going to invite him in.

i am sitting on the couch eating potato curry and thinking impure thoughts about Tom Welling on Smallville.

you know, just once, i'd like something to turn out the way i wish it would.
