i know i'm a lousy friend. i complain that people don't do things for me, and somebody does something for me, and i don't appear to notice. i wish people would pay more attention, and when they do, i hide. i wish people would leave me alone, and when they do, i complain. i talk about myself, and don't ask about anyone else. i'm self-absorbed, i run off at the mouth, and i spend more time trying not to think than i do actually thinking.

nevertheless, i appreciate all of you. i just thought i should say so.

it's all about the timing

just this weekend, i was thinking it was time for me to predict the death of the pope, but i forgot to actually post it.

in today's news: Pope Hospitalized With Flu.

i would have looked much cooler if i'd posted before the news picked up the story, but nevertheless: IMMINENT DEATH OF THE POPE PREDICTED.

not that this is exactly a long shot or anything. have you seen the guy lately?
