oh, the embarrassment

there are few pleasures guiltier than watching one's ex-boss, who is possibly the worst actress evar, under an assumed name, star in a cheesy movie version of an even cheesier romance novel on a cable channel that specializes in "women's entertainment."

it's like a train wreck. i just can't look away.

Um. What is "women's entertainment?"

"Men's entertainment" usually means something more appropriate for adolescent boys. Does women's entertainment involve unicorns and flowing filmy gowns?

apparently, it's shows about shopping, reruns of Oprah, and incredibly bad cable movies based on Harlequin romances. none of these things interest me, mind you, but that's what's on the cable channels aimed at women, so apparently that's what we like.

only WE (that's for Women's Entertainment") could make a movie about a bounty hunter boring and wimpy. give me Rutger Hauer any day.
