d-day

the day of my dinner party dawns chilly but sunny. i'm right on schedule with my preparations, with nothing left to do but vacuum, pick up ingredients, and do pre-prep. well, and pay a visit to the lovely and talented Magda to get my hair cut.

i think this will be a perfect occasion to bring out those Django Reinhardt CDs AjD gave me.
