i must be insane

i worked till almost 4 a.m. this morning, until i suddenly realized what time it was and made myself go to sleep. and yet, somehow, i awoke fresh and ready to go at 10 this morning.

which is a good thing, considering how much i still have to get done by tonight.

i'm just not sure what to make of this.

more fun than working

so all of a sudden, this ancient song circa 1990 or so popped into my head. i'd completely forgotten about it. i think the last time i played it was probably at least five years ago, and maybe even longer.

nothing special, but it's kind of fun. and it has good associations because i wrote it about a rather gorgeous 17 year old 6'6" finnish headbanger who had... well. never mind what he had. he was a lot of fun, till i got sick of him, which took about two weeks.

so here it is: take me home tonight. my voice is pretty wrecked, but you get the general idea.
