still depressed.

last night i had dinner with Warren and Shirley, since none of us had anywhere more exciting to be. Shirley was pretty stressed out for some reason, which made me stressed out too, but i was astounded by how calmly Warren dealt with it. he's clearly used to her being cranky, and he just lets it roll right off him. it's great to see them together. he adores her, and it shows.

but can this really be true? can there actually be people out there who like you even when you're in a bad mood? can there actually be men who will stay with you even if you're not little mary sunshine all the time?
