we got rain like hammers just now. rain so hard you need earplugs to sleep. rain pinging down into the wall furnace, hitting the windows so hard it sounds like rocks, pounding onto the roof like, um, rain pounding onto a roof.

why can't i seem to shake this constant feeling of being dragged down? i feel like my bones are made of lead. i really want to clean my apartment today, but i just don't have the energy.

i think i'll go take a nap. i'm not ordinarily a nap person, but i don't really have the energy to do anything else anyway.
