a plug for the employers
May. 11th, 2004 05:13 pmtoday we released the Sims2 Body Shop to the public. it's free, you don't need the Sims to run it, and you can use it to create at least the visual part of your Sims with pretty amazing detail (although so far there's a limited selection of hairstyles/colors, body types, and clothing). first you choose sex, body type, and age (toddler, child, teen, adult, or elder). then you choose from the preset facial components, after which you can tweak them in lots of ways, adjusting height, width, size, shape, projection, etc. of facial elements, adding facial hair or glasses or even makeup (no, you can't put facial hair on a woman... at least not until someone releases a hack to turn off the things that are gender-limited). your sims can appear startlingly realistic or fairly cartoony depending on how creative you get with the settings.
