i was depressed all weekend, after a very bad nightmare friday night. still didn't get any laundry done. this is a critical situation. so this morning, wondering what the fuck i could wear that would look halfway decent, i thought i'd try on an outfit i bought last summer but quickly grew out of. what do you know, it fits. it's a matching pants and tunic kind of thing in a lovely cinnabar color, the pants in linen and the top in a middle-eastern print georgette. i fell in love with the color at the store, especially after another customer said "wow, you HAVE to buy that! it looks GREAT on you!", but afterward i feared it was too frumpy-looking and only wore it once.
so i wore it today, and blew my hair dry so it'd look reasonably decent, since i'm also in dire need of a haircut.
in the first fifteen minutes i was in the office, three guys smiled at me and one actually made small talk.
i guess it's not too frumpy.
