so... Khalid's back in the US for a while, and he needs a car. something tasteful, yet fast. very fast. and swanky, because he wants to impress Hannah, and he knows her family is quite wealthy, but also something a little insane. the kind of thing the child of a single working immigrant mother would have lusted for. also, it's important for a future scene that the car in question make Hannah's father nervous... yet envious.
he could theoretically afford to lease a 2005 Bentley Continental GT, (around $185k... who needs a house, anyway?) but i'm thinking it's just a little ostentatious.
(i took a look at one in person this afternoon, and let me tell you, that is about the sweetest ride i've ever seen. it made the two Lamborghinis flanking it look like street whores by comparison. well, ok, maybe not street whores. mid-priced call girls. the Dodge Viper would be the street whore.)
i suppose, though, that i should keep his automotive budget to something under $100k for sanity's sake. there's always the Mercedes SLK350... but perhaps it's not insane enough. what do you think?
