that ought to save me at least a few hundred, maybe even a grand or two. assuming i can actually manage to pay the balance i owe sans the penalties. i don't know -- i'll have to go home and look at the paperwork.

top notch comedy

in class, we were discussing why for most purposes help screens should not have patterned or dark backgrounds. the instructor asked rhetorically, "what looks better in the dark than it does in the light?"

i said, automatically, "my butt."

it took five minutes to get everyone to stop giggling so we could get back to the subject at hand.

honestly, it wasn't that funny.
