i was supposed to meet with a developer at 11:00 this morning to interview him about something called "asset control." he did not know what i meant. nor did i -- i've been starting these docs blind, with no idea at all what they're about. so i asked my boss. she didn't know, nor did her boss. so now i'm waiting for an email back from the project manager.

well. that buys me some time to catch up on Perforce integration.

Zimbabwe displaces thousands more poor people as it continues to demolish slums and shantytowns, leaving their residents homeless.

The government's Operation Murambatsvina, or Drive Out Trash, has already left more than 250,000 city dwellers homeless in the winter cold. Police also have arrested more than 30,000 vendors, accusing them of dealing in black market goods and attempting to sabotage Zimbabwe's failing economy.
