all apartment complexes should have a "no subwoofers" rule. having a subwoofer in an apartment is just plain rude.
the people downstairs from me have acquired one. and a video game that involves lots of shooting and explosions. when they first fired it up, it was so loud the whole building was shaking and i thought we were having an earthquake. seriously. half the building complained and they turned it down, but it's not down low enough. what the hell are these people thinking? yes, yes, i know. it was a rhetorical question. the real question is "why don't people think?"
i'm going to complain again this afternoon. i hate being the whiny complaining neighbor, but it's impossible to think with the constant low-grade rumbling, and the gunfire and explosions are freaking out the cats.
