• dulce de leche is tasty even when made with condensed milk that's two years past its 'use by' date. however, it tastes slightly metallic until it cools completely.
  
• cats love dulce de leche. even cats who don't ordinarily eat anything but kibble and plastic.

everybody has a favorite cup. mine is a rather ordinary teacup that i got for 50 cents in a dollar store ~10 years ago. it's black on the outside and white on the inside, and for some inexplicable reason this pleases me on a deep, internal level.
