gay rights

We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". Thanks.
i was a very naive kid. the first time i ever heard of anyone being gay, it was when two girls at school told me, in horrified tones, that "Andy is gay!" they had to explain to me what that meant, and my immediate reaction was, "so what?"
it simply never occurred to me that there was anything wrong with (or even unusual about) being gay, or that people who happened to be gay should be treated differently from anyone else. i couldn't understand why those girls thought it was such a big deal. it just seemed obvious to me that it couldn't possibly make any difference in what sort of person they were.
