mistress of the obvious

i realize this may not come as a revelation to anybody else, but i truly had forgotten how good one feels in the morning when one's had a good solid night of sleep. wow.

i'm quite peeved about last night's episode of Buffy, but i won't go into a long, tiresome analysis. i'm just bummed that Spike can never be a sympathetic character again, and that now they'll undoubtedly bring yet another clean-cut, limp "nice guy" in for Buffy to get jiggy with. boring, boring, boring.

i can't help liking Spike. he reminds me of my ex-husband, in a tormented, bleached-blond, pretentious, british-accent sort of way.

too much time on my hands

suddenly, it hit me.

(yeah, it's not perfect. give me a break, i'm not an artist.)

fire alarm!

first, i overheard someone saying there was a fire truck parked outside the building.

then, the firemen started wandering around.

mmmmmmm, firemen.

turns out, we've got some sort of code violation regarding how far apart our fire extinguishers are inside the building.

i must remember this, for next time i, um, "need" a fireman.
