wow. curry is so good.
it turned out to be a boon that i was out of Thai chilies. having not garnished with a fresh chili, i discovered that the curry was of precisely the right heat all by itself. which is one of those things that only really ever happens by accident.
but wow, it sure was good. and the Sauvignon Blanc was almost as good with it as Vinho Verde has been in the past. (that's my big culinary hint: Vinho Verde goes outstandingly well with southeast asian cuisines, especially those heavy on the cocont milk and chilies. the citrusy sharpness of it cuts through the heat of a curry without overwhelming it.
and by the way, didi i mention curry is really good?
