they made it stop
Mar. 4th, 2004 06:24 pmturns out, it wasn't the tooth i thought it was. it was the teeth on either side of that tooth. so i got two root canals, at a total cost of $2550. this doesn't include the crowns i'll have to have put on, but the endodontist said i could get away with waiting a few months for those if i need to. i was at least able to negotiate a "payment plan": i pay half now, and half in 30 days. and they let me postdate my check to tomorrow, which gives me time to pick up my paycheck and deposit it.
so the next month will be just as tight as the last couple, as i scrape to find money for bills. i'll probably have to let some stuff slide again. obviously enough, i will be waiting on the crowns. meanwhile, i didn't even get any good drugs out of the deal: they just told me to take 600mg of ibuprofen three times a day until the pain stops.
ha ha. "until the pain stops." that's funny. the pain never stops, not in my life it doesn't.
