advice from bay area types
Jul. 1st, 2004 11:05 ami've never been to see the fireworks in SF (once i went to the music festival but fled before the fireworks started), and this year i want to go. can anyone recommend a good viewing spot that isn't going to be insanely crowded? i don't mind standing out in the cold, i just can't stand crowds.
alternately, is there a sufficiently good show anywhere else in the bay area that i might catch? pacifica hasn't got one of its own, although there's usually a lot of illegal fireworks shooting up from all over town. if i can't come up with a good way to go out for a show, people are welcome to come view the homebrewed show from my balcony and help me use up the remaining boxes of sparklers from the case i bought almost eight years ago now on a whim while driving through Wyoming.
