the R pirates have surrendered. lily-livered landlubbers! they ought to be made to walk the plank.

on the other hand, Pelham, NY has a glove-stealing cat.

he just showed up here with two of his (apparently very many) brothers and left me three utility dollies to help with the moving. he offered to take the boxes out of here for me and load them up along the side of the building, but i'm not comfortable having all my earthly possessions sitting outside all day, since i won't have the trailer until 4pm.

however, he's told me to just leave anything i can't take with me in the apartment, and they'll come tomorrow morning and take it away for donation, so the complex won't charge me for removing it. woohoo!

i continue to be in a bit of a tizzy. i've just taken out a large amount of trash and squeezed my entire wardrobe (sans socks and underwear) into a single storage container thanks to the wonder that is space bags. i'm not quite sure what to do next.

1. Randomly pick a song from your music library.
2. Find the lyrics.
3. Go to Google translation and translate the lyrics from English into German.
4. Take the new German lyrics and translate them into French.
5. Take the new French lyrics and translate them into English.
6. Post the NEW English lyrics and have people guess the original song.

i didn't actually do this, because nobody knows most of the songs in my music library. instead, i used one of my own songs. guess which one.

if I think of all the marks, we said on re-examining and all the marks I did not form it before the door me can believe you of the means you average him this one us of having really time this scene much of marks cultivated me hold outside to think so that you would be back here the morning me have the dreams, in which I rise you inside and I do not leave have idea, in which you are this night and I do not have right to ask you, where you were were to it much a word little with him were once very with much for me and it you y with single direction had outward journey more only we could once make much a word too little you and myself, we had public relations were a fact of the life you me, and we like I love you expensive, like to create a scene that we did not intend to like to embrace and to train and love us to fight to me with a goddamn the thing which you said but you it did not do the leisures with were always very clear for you as the leisures with deaths me had with nothing, statement never that you of the unstable conditions wanted to hear were to him much a word little with him were once very with much for me and it you with single direction outward journey plus nothing had there, we could once make much a word too little than you, think seek you, but you do not come any more around me

organization has abandoned me. i'm down to the "cramming random shit in random boxes" stage.

it happens to the best of us.

poor Iceberg is really not handling the packing process well. Daddy-O is sanguine as ever, but Iceberg has that musky scared-cat smell on him, and he's wandering from room to room looking seriously freaked out. i just left a message for the vet to see what she recommends for him. meanwhile i'll try some of the pheromone spray [livejournal.com profile] loosestrife gave me, which is supposed to be soothing for kitties.

my poor baby.

update: the pheromone spray (called Feliway) really seems to be working! the vet also called back and said if he gets really freaked out, i can give him half of a Benadryl, which should sedate him a bit. maybe i'll have time to pick some up on the way to get the trailer.

someone who lives right here in the neighborhood just replied to my craigslist ad offering up the last bookcases for free, and will be here to pick them up in five minutes. yay!

i'm taking the computer down now. if you need to reach me, call my cell; if you haven't got my cell number, ask someone who has it. if you don't know who has it, you probably don't need to reach me that badly.

i'm tired and cranky. many, many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] loosestrife, [livejournal.com profile] ronebofh, and [livejournal.com profile] 2wanda, who have all gone well above and beyond the call of duty helping me load up the trailer. thank you, thank you, thank you.

and now... i go.

holy fuck.
