i will kill, and then, i will eat
Sep. 8th, 2006 03:17 pmthe interview went OK, but not great. i figure it's 50/50. looks like an interesting job, in any case.
so. having given up on the supervisor over at UHC who hasn't done anything on my case for two months, i called UHC's main customer service line again this afternoon. i got myself transferred over to the 'rapid resolution' department, where i explained my story yet again. the woman i spoke to said she'd get me transferred to a manager right away, and then came back and said they were going to address my case immediately and could i hold for a couple of minutes. then i got disconnected.
so i called right back. this time i got a different person in rapid resolution. he couldn't tell me who i'd just been speaking to. he claimed he couldn't find out. i gave him the brief version and said i wanted to speak to supervisor X's boss. he didn't know who supervisor X was and couldn't find out. then he said the system showed that they hadn't received my therapist's tax ID and license numbers.
oh, yes you have, i told him. we're way beyond that. i'm not going to discuss this with you or a supervisor. i want the next step up.
he couldn't do that either. but he did promise to have a supervisor call me back within 72 business hours, and said they could get someone from higher up to call me back. i pointed out that the previous person i'd spoken to IN HIS DEPARTMENT had already contacted a manager and said my case would be addressed, but he said there was no record of it in the system.
i settled for the callback, because i needed to go cry. but i will be calling them back again first thing monday morning to try my luck again.
i need a drink. or three. stat.
