Y'know, until I did a Google search on Gallaudet to try to get the joke, I read that about four times as "sings" instead of "signs".

ARGGGH. I just got that. I thought it was merely, you know, deaf people can't hear the lady sing OMG LOL. I think that would actually be a worse joke than m's version, which is actually clever and tricksy.
