i don't seem to be coping very well with my sixth solo valentine's day in a row. i'm rather peeved with myself, since i never made much of v-day to begin with. last year, i hardly even noticed.
*Hugs* If we didn't all ready have plans tonight I'd invite you over. But Emmett's folks are coming by for dinner, and there's a bunch of health related stuff going on in both our families, so we're keeping Valentine's Day low key this year.
thanks for thinking of me. my usual trick worked nicely, however -- i just rented a couple of action movies and cooked something fun. (pizza this time -- the whole wheat crust was a mixed success.)
woke up at 5 am to do homework due at 10 am. before class talk to classmates and become convinced i did it all wrong. after class spend $$$ faxing transcripts as part of summer internship application due on friday. still don't have all the professors' recommendations lined up. go to internship, sit twiddling around with ASCII version of resume while feeling increasingly queasy as stomach flu or whatever i came down with on wednesday acts up again. eat dinner, then do friday kitchen cleaning shift which takes longer than usual because one of the large fridges broke and everything in there ended up in the dishroom. i had to beg somebody to switch their friday cleaning shift with my regular wednesday one because i was too sick to work that night. then cleaning suite tv lounge and bathroom on our end of the hall. then bed.
