oh god, i'm so tired

this morning, i had a much-needed, though ill-afforded massage from canetoad, after which i feel much, much better. i got to meet the lovely, talented, and naturally blonde calvin; then naomi_traveller joined us for lunch at yet another Ethiopian place, where i gorged myself shamelessly. then i drove naomi into the city, dropped her off, and met up with Michele, and we hit a bunch of the tiny but interesting museums at Fort Mason. all those closed at 5, so we headed over to the West Portal area (which i'd never been to before -- WOW it's nice!) and wandered around for a while, and then i headed home. it was at this point that i realized i had left my phone off all afternoon.

the thing is, this morning on my way to annie's, i got a call (finally!) from that place that was so hot to talk to me a couple of weeks ago. i scheduled an interview for next tuesday at 1 pm. then i realized that would conflict with an existing doctor appointment, so i called the doctor to reschedule. then the company called back wanting to move the interview to 3pm. no problem; i called the doctor back to cancel the rescheduling.

well, while i had my phone off, they called again, this time wanting to reschedule -- for tomorrow because they "want to move quickly".. too late to call them back tonight, but i can call them back first thing in the morning to tell them whether it's an option or not.'

well, it wouldn't be a crisis. and obviously enough, i really need this job. but it does mean that all the cleaning i was planning to do tomorrow will have to be done in much less time while i'm trying to unwind from a job interview, because friday i've got therapy at noon and then people coming for dinner at 7, and i'll need the time in between to shop for ingredients and do pre-prep. at least i don't have gamers this weekend, so i'd have time to recuperate saturday.

but oh god, i'm so tired.
