significant dreams

last night i dreamed i was back at my parents' house, and forced to share my old room with my mother (indeed, when i moved out of the house, she immediately moved into that room.). when she said something awful to me, i told her off, packed my things, and left. the most interesting part is that i spent a lot of time going through my things, deciding what to take and what to leave.

the mind works in mysterious ways.

cactus needles: report

they're the quietest of all the needle types i've tried, but they sound pretty good and they do keep their point much longer than any other type.

i'm putting all my 78s into clean new sleeves ordered from the web.

i haven't tried sharpening any needles yet, but i'm sure it won't be a big deal.
